which wedding band should I wear on our wedding day? haha okay let me explain why I have two.
The first wedding band with diamonds in it actually came with my engagement ring.. it’s the reason I fell in love with my ering to begin with. It fits right in there, but doesn’t look right on it’s own.. so I figured at some point down the road I would get a plain band to go with my ring, in case I ever wanted to wear my wedding band on its own.
Then one day I was shopping with my mom and dad. We were looking for a pair of earrings for my mom, and I went over to the ring case for a minute. I spotted a $400.00 ring that was on sale for $60.00. I thought to myself that I really couldn’t pass this up. Anyways long story short, my dad told me it could be a Christmas gift.. so they bought it for me then and there.
now that I have the second ring, I absolutely love how it looks with my ring too.. so I know that I will go back and forth between the two bands. I can’t for the life of me though, decide which one I want to wear on my big day. So I will leave the decision up to you gals!
Which one do you prefer?

I personally prefer the plain band. However, they are both really pretty!

I love the look of the plain band with your ring. It’s perfect. But either way, why don’t you wear both the bands on your wedding day? You could choose one for the ring exchange but keep the other on your right hand (which will work esp. nicely if you are wearing your ering on your right hand during the ceremony).

@Jade33: agreed! Why choose? I say just do both!

I would not want to wear something my parents got me for a wedding band. I’m just weird I guess. Can they all stack? I’ve never seen a band like the diamond one. What does it look like facing the other way- curved like )?

Thanks for the suggestions so far bees! I never thought of wearing both.
@blingbling: this is the ring on its own.

@blingbling: agreed. I know it’s probably silly to most girls, but like you it’s weird to me if my parents bought me a ring that was meant to be my wedding band.

I like the first band a lot better. It fits so much better with your e-ring!

On the big day, I think the plain one! Plain bands are just so classic.

I’m not about bling at all, but I voted the diamond because I think it just looks better.

I think both would look beautiful. Stacked rings are super cute. Also, it would be so meaningful; one band is from your parents and the other is from your husband. All the most important people in your life will be represented.

thanks for the input bees! That’s why I let my parents buy the other band instead of buying it for myself… which I could have done easily. I love how I have a band from my parents and my fiance… for those that think it’s weird, that’s fine, I just don’t share the same opinion. My parents are extremely important to me, and I love that they were able to add a piece to my wedding set. I might wear both… although maybe the plain band on the opposite hand like a pp suggested.

Mrs.H2B We have the same wedding date!
Both bands look great in their own different ways. I voted plain band though, because I find the width of the band is great. To me, it wouldn’t matter if my parents had bought me the band, I would still totally wear it as my wedding band 😉 It’s a symbol. I’m sure it means even more to you that one of your bands comes from you parents.
