Hi everyone! I recently received two blue nile diamond wedding rings in the mail and I can’t figure out which one looks best. Let me know what you think. 🙂
Option A – 2.2mm wide, larger diamonds. I really like the sparkle, but I wonder if it overwhelms my engagement ring. I do, however, like that you can see the rounded sides to the diamonds, bc I feel it looks more similar to the curves of my floral halo.
Option B: More petite, and smaller diamonds: 1.7mm wide, similar width to my engagement ring. This is closer to Blue Nile’s suggested match, but it feels more linear, and the lower height has a bit of a gap between the knife edge e-ring and the diamond wedding band.
I feel like I’m supposed to like the smaller ring. It is more delicate like my ring, which I also really like, but I don’t like that it looks more linear. I’m not even sure if that makes sense. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m so used to see my e-ring unaccompanied that it’s throwing me off on what they look like together. Thoughts? (I also realize that the one picture looks more sparkle-ly, but they both definitely sparkle. I just don’t think I’m a good ring photographer.)
