I chose beef because we eat so much chicken at home that it would be nice to have something different at a wedding.  Barring that, I would then chose chicken over fish.  I like salmon though.

Yeah, I’d have to know how these are prepared first. Without knowing, I’d go with beef, which is odd because I typically avoid red meat, but really, you typically can’t go wrong with a steak. Unfortunately, people like to do gross things with chicken (put ham in it, put a lemon-based something on it, etc.).

@MsGinkgo:  I like that idea. I should edit our website and add that info (even though we’re having a buffet)…not that anyone reads our website, but whatever.

Hmm… Either salmon or veggie. It depends on how the samlon was done!

@MsGinkgo:  I have a grudge against restaurant chicken. I make chicken at home all the time, when I go out I like to mix it up! I have never met a chicken in a restaurant I couldnt cook better at home. (that makes no sense but you know what I mean :))

@MsGinkgo:  I gave 2 options (beef or chicken – we have no vegetarians) and I thought they would come back about dead evenly split.  So far, I’m getting 1/3 chicken and 2/3 beef!  Go figure the beef is about $10 more a plate than the chicken…DOH.  FYI I picked salmon on your poll – deelish!

It really depends on how it’s prepared. Some people love chicken but might not like how it’s prepared and be very disappointed at the wedding. We inculded a “menu” card in the invitations that explained every option so people could make an informed decision.

If I had to choose it would probably be in this order: salmon, beef, chicken, vegetarian
