Memberif it were my finger, I’d want the setting for #2. BUT when you say that the first one is your dream, it sways me to say that’s the one for you. good luck!!

MemberI think the second one is more classic and timeless, the 1st one is kind of trendy to me… You can add bands and upgrade over time, but as they say… “a diamond is forever!”
MemberI prefer 2 because it’s less busy but I am personally not into really intricate details on rings. I would rather have the second setting with a diamond, but you keep calling 1 your dream setting so if you’re really ok with moissanite (and I would see it in person before you decide, because you may not like it in person, that’s what happened to me) it sounds like you prefer 1.
MemberThis morning we discussed both rings, and I told him I would love either! it will be a suprise! i have a feeling he will go with #2, but you never know! Up until a few days ago, I only really wanted #1 (after looking at tons and tons of rings in stores and online), and I wanted to make sure I still don’t feel that way. I guess we are non traditional by him letting me pretty much pick out my ring. As a nursing student I need to make sure it won’t rip my gloves! It is fun being surprised which one he will choose! He is ordering it next weekend (it will take 4-6 weeks to come in). I’m actually really wanting #2!

MemberI love diamonds, so I would pick the diamond option. A moissanite looks like a lovely stone, but I can’t speak to it, having never seen one.
