I just have two very thin bands that I wear, but one is white gold and one is rose gold.

I have a few different options, as I like to switch things up now and then.

First pic is all 14K rose gold. Actually, now that I think about it, the band might be 10K. I don’t remember.

This is 14K rose gold on the solitaire band and platinum on the wedding band. (I know it’s not white gold, but at least it gives you the idea of a white metal. Hopefully.)

And this is platinum for the “ering”/anniversary ring and 14K or 10K (can’t remember which) rose gold for the band.

Your blue sapphire is gorgeous! I have a rose gold setting with flat prongs and I was worried the jeweler that set my stone flattened them and shouldn’t have, idk why but it seemed off to me at first because I’d never seen these prongs before…..but after seeing yours I feel WAY better!!! I think it’s stunning and am so glad the prongs are supposed to be this way! Both your rings are beautiful!  longtimemrs :

I have looked at so many options but kept feeling as though everything I put on took away from the simplicity of my engagement ring – which is something I love so much about it! A plain white gold band was a bit too boring for me, but the rose gold band was the perfect amount of contrast and it maintains that “understand elegance” look I love so much. I can’t wait to wear it all the time!

I had the same dilemma! In the end, I decided on a white gold wedding set with an extra rose gold ring for my pointer finger. I’ll always wear all three, so that way I get the best of both worlds!

erinebee1 :  Awww! Thanks so much for your kind words. *cyberhugs*

My blue stone is a London Blue Topaz. I could only dream of having a sapphire that size — ha, ha!

Hopefully the flatter prongs on your setting flow well with the rest of the setting. My topaz solitaire is a custom design. The stone sits in a scroll basket, so the jeweler (David Klass) made the prongs so they look like little scroll loops sitting over the stone. It took me a while to get used to the flat look they have.

Well that’s a beautiful topaz with such rich color and honestly it’s one of the prettiest rings I’ve ever seen! I think mine flows good it’s a basket setting too and its a flat band solitaire so I guess the flat prongs make sense. Thank you for replying and congrats on a beautiful ring! longtimemrs :

Mine engagement ring is rose gold, my wedding ring is white gold, and then I wear a cheapy hammered sterling silver ring between them.
