So, we are getting married in 6 weeks and I am really stuck on the fact that my dress is ivory and we picked white tablecloths. So, my wedding planner is happy to change the plan to ivory table cloths, but…. there’s one hang up: I puchased $400 worth of WHITE candles. Will this matter? Will it be a big “clash”? I checked out this blog…
and they do not seem worried at all about mixing white and ivory. Has anyone else done this? I just wish I would have thought it out more carefully to begin with…

Don’t worry, no one will notice!

@mollyann: At this point, I would NOT worry about it! That is something you can cross off your list of to-dos. I highly doubt anyone will notice and I even doubt that YOU will notice because you’ll be having such an amazing time at your wedding! Take a deep breath and take care of the important things- especially yourself so you can be glowing on the big day!

@mollyann: Thanks, guys! It’s hard to know what to worry about and what to let go of with so few weeks before the big day. I’m feeling relieved to check this off my list!

@mollyann: I agree with PP, it really won’t matter either way. I guess I would maybe even stick with the white tablecloths so that your dress doesn’t just blend into the tablecloths.. Just thought! 🙂

@mollyann: I’m doing something similar. I have an ivory lace overlay but am using white frosted votive candles. I talked to a decorator who said when candles are lit they throw off a cream or yellow-ish color, which will look great with the ivory. I wouldn’t worry about it.
