So, last minute (3 weeks) the person who was supposed to be getting chairs for me let me know that they now can’t.
I now have to rent tables for everything, cake, people, all of it. I already bought ivory table cloths, and was planning on having brown chairs (rustic theme). But the Brown chairs are 3.50, and I found some white folding chairs for 1.30 each. If I switch the the white chairs this won’t hurt my budget too much, but I’m wondering if it’s going to be super noticeable.
Everything will be outside in semi shade to shaded areas in the daytime. Is it going to look totally stupid with the white chairs? Or do you think it won’t matter too much? I’m kinda losing it now. I was doing good with stress, then this happens!!

It will be TOTALLY fine to have white chairs and ivory linens. And I’m picky. But it will be fine.

there will be jackets and people to cover the chairs and as the day progesses I’m sure no one will think ” why did she get white chairs?” It will be totaly fine and look great

I think Ivory and white look really pretty together. You will be fine!

Honestly, I don’t think anyone would notice. Even if it was inside and the sun wasn’t shining directly on it. People are going to notice more of the venue than the actual chairs. I say save your money and go with the white! 🙂

I don’t think the white chairs will stand out, but if it would bug YOU than go for brown… If its a budget thing-your guests wont care or notice either way ! I’m a little biased though I have ivory tables with black chairs 🙂
