Oooo I’ve seen their dresses in ads. Please go and tell me what fun you had. I’m envying you. I left Massachusetts a few years ago. Otherwise, I’d head straight over there.

I had a wonderful experience  there this past week…and I bought my dress! The store has that small, intimate atmosphere without being intimidating. Their selection is very classic and tasteful…you should check their website to see if it meets your style.

For me, it was just perfect because that was exactly what I was after. I worked with Kelley who was sweet and patient with me. All of the staff were not only pleasant, but seemed to be genuinely interested. I felt no pressure to buy after trying at least 10 dresses, but I fell in love with a Modern Trousseau gown and after thinking about it all night, went back the next day.

I had an appointment at Kleinfeld’s in the morning and was very put off by the hustle of the store. I didn’t feel that my stylist was interested in what I was looking for. I high-tailed it out of NYC and drove directly to TWD in Clinton (about 3 hrs in afternoon traffic). I got there 1/2 hr before they were supposed to close. Kelley greeted me with a hug and a knowing smile and went directly to the gown she figured I had come back for. The whole staff came out to admire me in the dress as I tried it on again, even though it was now 1/2 hr past closing. They were sweet, kind and most of all genuine.

So if this is the kind of experience you would like to have, and they carry dresses that fit your style, I say forget the big stores and make your appointment here. I highly recommend it.

I was recommended by two different people to go and was very happy with the overall service.  For what I was looking for, I found the dresses out of my price range and therefore did not end up purchasing my dress there.

Good luck!

I purchased my dress from there.  It was actually the only store I went to, but I had researched before hand and called ahead to see if they had a dress I was interested in (ended up being the one I got) and they also gave me a few other options to try on.  The girls were so sweet there and even sent me home with a book on weddings, piece of cake, and send me a thank you card a few days later.  My bridesmaids and mother’s dresses are also being purchased from there.  I’d definitely recommend it!

I went there to look and it was well worth the visit.  Most of the dresses were out of my price range but I had to go after I’d heard so many good things.  I would go just for the experience if I were you – the staff were very nice and it’s just a lovely little shop – just what you would want from a bridal boutique.

Great place I already had purchased my dress and was looking for bridesmaid dresses.  They’re a little on the high side $220-$300.  Too much for my girls to spend.  I also like Bridal Trousseau on Main in Branford Ct.  The store is very modern and fashion forward.  Have fun shopping!
