I vote no – ivory with the white dress is going to look dirty and dingy by comparison.  Mixing white / ivory / cream / etc isn’t typically a good idea.  Sorry!

Really? It might not look bad. I sometimes can’t even tell if a dress is “ivory” or “white”.  sometimes they are so similar in color.  If you really like the pair, it might be worth it to see the shoes next to the dress to make up your mind.

Do you have a picture of your dress and the shoes?

My first response is, no they won’t look good together, but there are so many different shades of white and ivory that you may be able to pull it off.

I think shoes a bit darker than the dress look fine.  Because they are mostly hidden by the dress anyway, looking a bit darker will be put down to a shadow from the dress.  It’s more of an issue if the dress is ivory and the shoes are white.

I vote no as well. Why not find a pair that matches one of your wedding colors, or something spunky and fun like bright red? Or even make your shoes your “something blue!” 🙂
