@WineAndCupcakes: What about a “Set”? Like create a basket of gourmet hot chocolate things- special marshmellows (mint, chocolate, etc), different types of hot chocolate, cinnamon sticks, etc

I just went shopping for white elephant gift exchange for my husband work yesterday. Here are my found, if you’re interested in any of them.

1. 2 Ornaments from Bloomingdales. Original price are $25 and $6. I got them for 30% = $23ish include tax.

2. Bath and Body Work http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12182084&cp=12195129.12316590′ defer=’defer for $21ish including tax. The original price is $29ish, but they put it in the wrong area with the $20 items, so the girl gave it to me at $20. You can get the same box (with different lid) for $20. Yup, different lid = price difference of $9.

3. Victoria Secrect http://www.victoriassecret.com/ss/Satellite?ProductID=1265647071502&c=Page&cid=1319078568824&pagename=vsdWrapper. Original price is $18, on sale for $11ish including tax.

My family just started doing this for Christmas last year, and this will be my first year participating because we were with FI’s family last year. I am so excited! We have a 20$ limit and a no booze rule (some of the cousins are still underage), so I got:

– a double glass to-go mug with a tea infuser

– a selection of looseleaf teas from David’s Tea

We do this with DH’s family (although we call it a “Yankee Swap”). Our limit is around $20. I picked up a Snuggie and two Pocket Chairs from Five Below.
