Hi!! I’m attending a wedding this summer, struggling to find a suitable dress! I’m well aware of the ‘never wear white to a wedding’ rule but was wondering if a white floral dress would be okay?!
Absolutely love the dress pictured but is it appropriate??

If you hesitate, or have to ask – it’s not appropriate. Sorry bee.

That’s what I thought! Maybe i’ll still order it so I have it in the wardrobe for a different occasion! Thank you all! X

It’s a very pretty dress if you want it for other occasions..just not a wedding.

Nice dress, but not for a wedding.

- Wedding: August 2019 - A historic Art Deco and French Renaissance Theatre
Definitely not for a wedding. Order and wear for something else or see if it comes in a different color to order and wear for the wedding.

- Wedding: September 2020 - Summer Camp!
To me personally, it has to be less than around 1/2 white to pass, preferably less than 1/3. Keep it for another occasion though!

Perfectly fine unless the bride, groom, brides, grooms or other guests are weirdly judgmental jerks. Lovely dress and you’d have to be very very confused to mistake the wearer for the bride ( and if you can’t tell why are you at the wedding?)

I think it’s too much white.

I think if you paired it with a blue or pink cardigan you’d be okay. But if planning on wearing it without I’d pass. Gorgeous dress though.
