I went to look at flowers this wknd, and I want everything white (which is cream in flower-speak) with some little light green accents. However, I’ve noticed that a color bridal bouquet really pops in photos against a white dress, and while I always thought the white flowers would go with the white dress, I saw one pic where it looked funny and “off”. Anyone ever seen one random color for a bride’s bouquet that wasn’t pulled into the wedding elsewhere?
Bridesmaids’ dresses are black.

I just love the look of white flowers with my dress. I think it’s so bridal! My colors are black, white, and sage green. My Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses are black too and they will carry green and white bouquets.
It’s your bridal bouquet so you really can’t go wrong, but I think it’s acceptable to do all white too!

Do you have any wedding colors? What colors are the decor items? Could you tie your bouquet color into those elements since the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses are black?
I kind of feel like brides and flowers are gorgeous, so there’s very little you could do to make them look bad!

I think with your color palette you can’t go too wrong. I personally just wanted white flowers for myself, but I’m sure any color would go with yours. If possible, whatever color you do choose, I would try to at least tie it in a little bit elsewhere just so it doesn’t seem too random.

I’m doing all white flowers except for a touch of color in the center to match the wedding colors. It looks like this:

I think an all white bouquet will still look great. We’re doing all white flowers, even my bouquet. The colors are black, ivory and gold, so I thought introducing a random color would stick out too much.
However, whatever you decide, I’m sure it will look awesome. 🙂

I think either colored flowers or white ones would look great. If you first reaction was to choose white flowers with your white dress, go for it. Don’t second guess yourself.

I think it’s funny that you point out that white in flowers is actually cream. A pet peve of mine! I mean I think it’s great if you are doing like a neutral palatte of white, cream and silver but when your colors or your dress is a brillant white and I see a cream colored bouquet I always think…"that Doesn’t go?" Anyway my boquet is also Cream color but then my dress and everything else is too, but nah no color for me.

Thanks all! Wedding colors are white/cream/light green, but not much light green is in season in October by way of flowers <sigh>
