They’re both beautiful.  I have a rose gold ring and often think the way you do, that I may not always love it.  Well the beauty of that is that you can just have it dipped in white rhodium and then  you have yourself a white gold ring lol.

The best way to find out what you like is to go to a store and try them on.

I picked RG bc it looked best with my skin, I grew up with my mom wearing yellow gold and RG so i knew i wouldn’t get sick of it and I honestly was so bored of all my white gold and silver items – i like the warmth of yellow and RG but i am pale with pink undertones and the RG ring just matched perfectly. Also using a gold band with plat/white gold prongs really makes the diamond pop and looks like its floating! Everyone always asks to see my ring.

Also note- each store and jeweler uses their “own” mix for RG – so color can really change based on store and 14k v 18k. My ring is 18k rose gold but NOT crazy pink (imo) – it doesn’t really scream – “im pink” from far away.

Have fun trying rings on!!! I hope these pics help. For whatever reason – my plain RG band doesnt pick up that well in pictures from above. Let me know if you have questions or want more pics. Ive had my ring for 1 year and still love the RG and dont think ill get sick of it anytime soon.

BUT you cant go wrong with whitegold – i LOVE all my friends whitegold pave solitares so much when i see them! I think all metal colors are classic and go in and out of style so find a ring that calls to you!

I love your choice in ring. I’ve been admiring that one on their website. That is a tricky choice. I see white gold almost always on other people, so rose gold would probably really stand out.

I LOVE rose gold. We were originally going to go with a rose gold setting but my heirloom diamond didn’t fit well within the halo. I ended up going with a white gold custom ring. White gold seemed to fit the style of the setting a bit better. However, if I EVER get the change to have a second ring or a moissy, I’m going with rose gold.

I struggled with this decision. I love how the rose gold seperates the diamonds and makes them pop. But I didn’t feel secure in the fact that I would love rose gold on me forever or that it would match any other jewelery I would wear. I ended up sticking to the safe choice and getting white gold.

All my other jewelry is white or yellow gold so I wanted something different for my ring and chose rose gold

youmaysayimadreamer :  I love both! I would do a white gold engagement ring and get a rose gold band or bands.
