I just ordered my Arabella Maggie Sottero dress today in White. I’ve only tried on/seen the dress in diamond white. Do you think this was a mistake? I’m now panicking that I’ve picked the wrong color after reading some people say it makes you look “washed out”! Help! I don’t know if it’s too late to change my mind!
This is me in the dress:

Beautiful dress! I had the same problem. I had no clue which to go with. I decided to go with diamond white because I’m bit on the paler side and thought the white (in y dress) looked too bright. I still am up in the air bout if i made the right decision. Its so much easier to match your white ties, shirts, veil, etc.. with a normal white and not diamond. Everything will be a tad off with my diamond white dress because most places only carry white or ivory everything. I think you made a good decision and you look tan enough to pull off a white dress beautifully!

I agree with the others – since you’re so tan, you should stick with the white! Beautiful!!

Was the dress you tried on white or diamond white? White is a bit stark. The dress you tried on looks like diamond white to me.

White white is a very stark white. Diamond white is a little softer, but still white. I wore natural white (my dress was silk), which is the equivalent to diamond white. It photgraphed white but was very pretty and soft in person.
I also had a spray tan, for what it’s worth.
ETA: Going with the white will probably be fine, but if you still can I would change it to the diamond white. It’s what you tried on and what you saw in person, what made you decide to go with the white instead?

I ended up going with white because I thought that’s what I should do since it is my wedding day and I am a bride. And I obviously wanted it to look white and not ivory in any way. However, I did try on the dress in diamond white and it looks perfectly white to me. I called the store this morning and I ended up switching it to diamond white. I am horrible at making up my mind but I am glad I switched. That is how I tried it on and loved it so I thought I should just go with that. I did consider the fact of the veils not matching correctly..but I thought that it might not be too noticeable. Thanks so much for all of your help!!

I’m super pale so I look bad in white, but you however have lovely coloring and can pull it off!
