I love love my dress! I got it in ivory.. but now i don’t know if I should change it to white? the store said I can do this but I have to make my mind up fast, by the end of next week !!! so it’ll get here on time.. at the store they only had the sample in ivory so that’s what I tried on, so I don’t know if it’s a good idea to get it in white because I fell in love with the ivory.. but I always thought I’d get married in white..
my mom loves the ivory, my stepdad says I should get the white.. idk?
i love it in ivory but maybe it’s because I couldn’t try it on in white? but if I order it in white then I’ll have to stick with it even if I like the ivory better..so it’s an all or nothing deal..

I personally like Ivory more, its a little richer, but it’s totally up to you.

My vote would be to stick with the ivory since you already know you love the ivory. Also, one of the bridal consultants I worked with told me that the majority of sample dresses are ivory, not white, because ivory dresses often look white (when they aren’t being held up next to a true white) and because true white doesn’t look very good with very many people’s skin tones. That’s not to say that a true white doesn’t look great on some people, but it seems risky to me since you haven’t been able to try it on yet.

The ivory is very soft…I love it, it’s still extremely bridal without bein too white. I don’t like champange on bridal gowns, it can look brownish in photos. I think you should trust your intial decision.

I think it looks beautiful in the pics you posted. My dress is “natural” which is kind of halfway between white and ivory, if that makes sense. LoL. It’s a very soft white– I don’t really care for stark white myself. I would stick with the color you tried on because you KNOW what it looks like.. if you order white and don’t like it when it gets here, you’re stuck with it.
Was your stepdad even there when you tried on the ivory one?

@Calla85: yeah I’m just scared to get the white because they don’t have it in the store.. ahh I wish they had more samples in white!
thanks everyone for the replies! 🙂 still undecided.. maybe because growing up i always associated brides with white dresses!
