I’m wearing the Monique Lhuillier Elle dress and I found a flower girl dress that I like and meets her mom’s standards (cap sleeves) that comes in both white and ivory. The girl is 3 but wears a 5 (she’s tall for her age). Should I get the ivory or the white? I want it to match well enough for pictures but I’m not sure what will clash.

I personally like the white with white and the dress matches yours so well.

White if you get Ivory (I am assuming your dress is white because of the pic) it will make her dress look dirty the colors reaaly clash!
My wedding dress is Ivory and I compared a white flower girl dress to it and it made my dress look extremely dirty!

I guess I’m just concerned with the ivory top part of my dress. Thanks for the crazy quick response.

Wedding dress ivory isn’t the same or perceived the same as any other ivory. Unless other things in your decor are yellow much the yellowish ivory then I would absolutely go with white.
I went through a whole drama with buying an “ivory” veil to go with my “ivory” dress. Nope! Not the same. White!

If your dress is ivory, I would go with ivory. You don’t want the flower girl dresses to be whiter than your dress!!
That Flower Girl dress is sooo cute!!!

We found my flower girl a dress at a garage sale before I even bought mine – was cute and cheap. The flower girl dress was white and I ended up getting an ivory gown. We just added an ivory sash to her dress and had her wear ivory shoes…it looked great!
But like others have said if your dress is ivory, I would get an ivory dress for her as well if it is available. If yours is white, I would get white. Either way though I really don’t think it will clash and I doubt anyone but you will notice 🙂
