I have a yellow gold wedding set, and have always wanted to get a right hand yellow gold diamond ring to kinda go with it. My wedding set isn’t very large, and my hubby wanted to get me something as kind of a “thank you for having my 5 kids” thing.
The problem I am running into is, there are not a whole lot of yellow gold diamond rings out there anymore. And the one’s I do find are really old lady looking or flashy. I found my dream ring on sale today, only problem, it’s white gold, and can’t be ordered in yellow. I am thinking seriously getting it even though it is white gold, just afraid it will look kind of weird having two different gold colors even though they will be on different hands. Any suggestions or thoughts? I don’t want to get it, then later on regret it….Thanks!

I don’t think it would look weird having different colored gold on separate hands. If you like it in white gold, I say go for it.

def go for it! I love mixing different color metals together, and dont really consider it mixing if they are worn on seperate hands anyways. any pics to share?

The above pic is of my wedding set, and here is a link to Reeds Jewelers for the ring I want. 🙂 http://www.reeds.com/products/ProductDetail.html?plu=19043694 Just wondering if they would compliment each other, or stand out way too much, since they are sooo different. lol

Your wedding set is beautiful! & The anniversary ring you want is very beautiful as well! I would jump on it for sure! It won’t look weird at all! My mom’s wedding set is yellow gold but all of her other rings are white gold or silver. 🙂

Thanks, my Darling Husband had it custom made. He fell in love with the band, and specially ordered the heart shaped diamond. We later bought the band and had the same jeweler custom fit them and solder them together. He surprised me it, we didn’t go ring shopping at all. I liked it better that way, I love surprises.
