Okay, our wedding is in the fall. Our colors are an aqua/pool/tiffany-ish blue, chocolate brown & cream/white. I don’t really think that orange pumpkins would go, but I still kinda want the fall feel. What do you ladies think of white pumpkins? And just decorate them (just a little bit) according to colors?
I think it would be kinda cutesy in a way. Kinda Cinderella in a way. (When I think white pumpkin, thats who I think of; lol)
I’m just throwing around ideas at the moment. Looking forward to feedback! 😀

I love this idea! You could also do something — I think I saw it on Martha Stewart’s site — with mini pumpkins/gourds and glitter (which would look SOOOO pretty in chocolate brown). I don’t think I’m feeling blue pumpkins, though. Maybe you could do blue candles or votive holders instead? Good luck!

I love it too! You could use the pumpkins as vases.

Here’s a link to a site I found. I think it would be pretty to carve some of them like this. Or buy them. I especially like the one with the initials carved.
Maybe have a few carved, with the small ones (not carved) around it.

Here is a picture that I have had in my inspiration folder for awhile, its from Martha Stewart…Looks like it would be easy to do, especially if you got those pumpkins that are carvable.

I’m using white pumpkins for decor for our wedding, so I’m biased when I say that I love this idea. We’re getting married on October 31, 2009, so white pumpkins seem like the perfect decoration. We’re going to have them leading up the path to the reception and decorating the aisle at the ceremony.

I saw a bride on rich bride poor bride who wanted to incorporate pumpkins into being the cups for their signature drinks, after realizing this was a retarded idea and a stinky one, they were left with tons of mini pumpkins. I LOVE what she did with them – although not wihte pumpkins like you are siggesting, I love the brown glitter pumpkins
I am sure you could find some ivroy/white glitter and I think it would give the pumpkins a nice WOW factor!

I love the idea! but I love pumpkins. White pumpkins tend to be denser then the typical pumpkin. Alto if you can get mini pumpkins for cheap , you can carve the middle out with a melon baler and they make great votive holders. Good luck!
