I have a white sapphire too. I clean it once a week using a mild dish detergant with fairly warm water and a soft toothbrush. It’s amazing how the sparkle comes back. When I first tried cleaning it I was too afraid of ruining it. I scrub it gently for about 30 seconds and it gets rid of the cloudiness. Hope that works for you!

If cleaning it didnt help, perhaps the stone has turned cloudy on the inside? Sometimes that can happen over time, especially if the stone endured some extreme temperature changes. You would have to replace the stone at that point.
