I have a beautiful white gold and white sapphire engagement ring that my fiance purchased from Shane Co in December. We’ll be going back to Shane for the wedding band (love their service and lifetime warranty, etc) but I am torn as to what style of band would look best with my ring. I believe there are four main options:
* Plain white gold 3mm band* Plain white gold 3mm band with milgrain edge* Diamond pave band* Blue sapphire band
What do you think? Would a diamond band be noticeably different alongside a sapphire e-ring? Does anyone have a white stone e-ring with a blue stone wedding band? Would love to see any of the above combinations even if you have a round diamond solitaire instead of a white sapphire. Here is my ring:

You have a really gorgeous ring! I would say that a nice plain gold band would look great with your ring. My new e-ring looks like yours, but I am stacking it with a pave diamond band and a plain one too, all in wite gold and it is very timeless.

I vote for the plain band. Not only would it give you a beautiful, classic set..but it would compliment your solitare without taking away from it.

Diamond pave band! But I have a thing for sparkle 😉

Diamond band will over power the sapphire. I had a sapphire set in a diamond setting and it took away from the stone. When it was reset by itself, it looks gorgeous. I would go with a plain band or a white sapphire band (or blue or alternating sapphires 🙂
