my wedding is in 4 weeks and i have a few white spots that i’ve heard are called tinea versicolor on my righ upper arms and my upper back.
does anyone have any suggestions on clearing this up fast? i’ve been putting head and shoulders on it because i heard that helps but now they’ve turned very red! i don’t know if thats a good thing in the healing process or if it’s a bad thing.
i have a dr appt next week but i’d like to get started on a remedy asap. i also heard that the presciption for this doesn’t work very quickly and sometimes doesn’t work for ppl.
any help would be great=)

I had the EXACT same thing ALL over my back last summer… it hung on through the fall and I was devestated because I went to the derm and got both a cream prescription and an oral medication. Neither one helped immediately. However, I did a lot of online research, and while it sounds kind of hokey, I found out about this stuff that is kind of like a mud mask called Saprox. I got it off Amazon, I think it was about $40 but I swear, it’s what cleared it up. Or maybe it was a combo of the meds + the Saprox. I would put it on in the shower when I would shave my legs or else sit with it on for like 20 minutes. Anyway, I hope this helps! I feel your pain 🙁

thank you so much! i’m going to look that up and buy some! i appreciate it!
did it get red before it cleared up though? or did it just regain pigment?
