Hello! So a bit of a back story: I was absolutely in love with Diana/Kate’s ring and I wanted it for my e-ring, got a bit impatient a couple of years back and was given this as sort of a promise ring I guess (?) since Fiance was dead set on getting me a “traditional” diamond ring.
Fast forward to November of this year, I got engaged (yay) and was given a very pretty ring.
And herein lies my dilemma: I originally thought I would just match my wedding band with the e-ring’s band, BUT it just seemed so bleh to me. my e-ring is so thin, that if I got a matching wedding band and wore it by itself it would look so boring.
I saw sapphire wedding bands and it seems like I really am a sapphire nut. But now I need advice on whether any of these rings would actually go with my e-ring. Would these look out of place, I wonder? I definitely thing they would look great on their own though.
^That last one was the only diamond band I saw that I would be okay with, but I’m also considering subbing with blue sapphires.
Fiance is okay with blue sapphires as blue is his favourite colour.

I don’t think a sapphire band would look out of place at all! i think it would look very classy and elegant. My erings band has sapphires and my wedding band will be all diamonds but am planning on getting a diamonds and sapphire band to wear in between the two.

I’m partial to the first ring, because it’s really similar to my own wedding band. For what it’s worth, my husband proposed with a sapphire ring, and wanted to get me a sapphire band to match. Because I’m pretty traditional, I decided on a diamond-only band. My set works well, and is the color-opposite of your set. I think a sapphire band will be beautiful with your diamond ring (which is gorgeous, by the way!)

I voted the last band with all blue sapphires. I’m not a big fan of the alternating colors in one band but I do think an all blue sapphire band would look great with your ring.

I like the first one, but I definitely think you should try some on to be sure you like the look and the way it sits with your e ring.

Thanks for narrowing down my choices, everyone! So far it’s either the first or the fourth one. 🙂
Oh, I’ve never seen contoured rings where I live. I’ll definitely look into that one also. Thank you!
