Fiance and I are planning a vinatge inspired wedding and are considering putting him in a white /ivory jacket. He thinks it will look vintage and classic, I’m afraid it will look dated.
which look should he wear?
any ideas will be appreciated!

A white dinner jacket and black pants are a classic outfit.
A white tuxedo looks a bit costumey to me.

Jacket-Definitely. Very Casablanca-esque. Full tux-NO. Fiance wore an all-white tux for his brother’s wedding. He said he felt like a Yeti all day .

This is my dress. I’m wearing it with my grandma’s lace wedding veil, satin kitten heels, and a simple single pearl necklace. My dress is simple and elegant, but not super formal.
Our venue is a beautiful historic building with stone walls and 25foot ceilings with exposed original beams. We are going for a romantic, vinatge, simple look 🙂

Beautiful gown! Its simple but the detail on it is what makes it so beautiful! I would say go black tuxedo for my own personal opinion but do what your first instinct tells you to do. If you decide to go with the white or ivory option make sure you go with the same color as your dress. It looks white in the picture so if you decide to put him in white… make sure its white and not ivory. Or vice versa. If your dress is ivory dont put him in white or it will make your dress look dirty.
Good Luck and Happy Planning!
