My Fiances parents are paying for the rehersal dinner of 30-34 people.
Us (2)
our parents (4)
Grandparents (3)
Priest (1)
Bridesmaids AND their husbands/significant others (10)
Groomsmen and their girlfriends (10)
A few people who are coming in from out of country so a possible additional 2-4.
Our wedding party is staying in the hotel the night before the wedding it would be EXTREMELY rude for us not to include their significant others at the dinner. What do we make them do? make the significant others sit in a hotel in an area they dont know while we all hang out and have dinner and drinks? I would be really hurt/frustrated/bored if my Fiance was in a wedding and I had to sit in a hotel all alone while he was off at dinner and having drinks partying with people. Some people say ‘their significant others dont have to stay in the hotel the night before” and those people are right, they dont…..but we want our wedding party to enjoy their weekend not ditcch their significant others because we dont want to pay for an additional 10 people. If they have to ditch their significant others and have a weekend without them then whats the point?
Our wedding party are people who mean a lot to us, thus, their significant others are parts of our lives as well and exclusing them is not something we would do.
Just my daughter, my parents, my grandparents, & my cousins. So 7 total. One of the many benefits of not having a bridal party 😀
