@Neetch:  Well I choose not to be defined only by my Lady Parts.  How degrading.

    and taxing junk food!

    gee

I think when it comes to voting its like chooising what fatal illiness to have.

@HisIrishPrincess:  Oh wow. I’m not “only defined” by my lady parts. But I don’t deny that they exist, either. It’s much more degrading to vote for a party that gives zero fucks about women.

I’m scared that a man in charge of our country would lie for two weeks to us about a terrorist attack on our embassy, refusing to call it what is was, on 9/11 so he could go to Vegas and then NYC and party with Jay-Z and Beyonce and appear all slick on Letterman.  All the while refusing to meet with a world leader because it doesn’t fit his schedule.

Oh and we’re about to send money to the people responsible for the death of an ambasidor.

@eimajleigh:  the daily show?  that’s a legit news source?

I wish I could vote. Alas, as a Canadian living full time in the US, while I am directly effected by the government, I don’t get a say. I would be voting Demrocratic if I had a choice. Although I am a *gasp* socialist, and I don’t agree with everything he says, I think the US deserves more then Romney.

Also, I live in a historically Republican state, that I know even if I coul vote, it wouldn’t make a difference. So I’d probably vote for my cat.

Undecided, but leaning more towards Romney, I think. For now. I don’t know.

Sometimes I feel like I shouldn’t vote because no matter how much research I put into it, I’ll still be an uninformed voter! I’m just no good at understanding the intricacies of policies, determining which plan works and which plan doesn’t, etc. Not to mention that there seems to be nowhere to find unbiased facts for people like me.

But that doesn’t mean I’m not trying. *sigh*

Just stepping in to give a friendly reminder to keep on track of the thread rather than debate and personally attack another’s opinion, please!

You should have an “other” option. Because even though 3rd party candidates never win (IMO, because they aren’t given a chance), they do still exist.

Romney.  I care about my health and the health of others.  Being a healthcare provider, I already see how healthcare reforms are negatively impacting the delivery of quality care.  As for women’s health, I wish people wouldn’t assume one extremist republican view is the same accross the board.  I am a social liberal, but a conservative as far as fiscal and government control issues.  The US has a lot of problems right now and I believe Romney is the candidate that can fix the most.

Obama inherited a cluster f**k of an economic mess left by 8 years of the Bush admin. Then, everytime he tried to accomplish something, he was blocked by republicans. Now he’s expected to defend how HE performed in the last 4 years??? He wasn’t allowed to perform!  I can’t imagine any woman voting for Romney.

Romney is another example of elitist government. I’ve watched women fight for reproductive rights for nearly twice as long as most Bees have been alive. Romney is another step backwards for women. You really think abortion can’t be outlawed? Think again. In some places you can’t even vote if you don’t have photo ID…that means my 88 year old mother who no longer drives could be told she can’t vote? Imagine – American citizens being denied a basic right! And don’t get me started on people who choose NOT to vote! I’m shocked and disappointed at the passivity and disinterest expressed by so many people. My 16 year old daughter has an informed opinion but 20-somethings can’t be bothered to care?
