Sunfire :  Can you read the poll? He has less than 50% of the votes, only 31%.

Which is encouraging to me that at least on here, most people are on the right track…

Mrs.Sugabee2003 :  The Huffington Post is well know for being extremely biased towards a liberal slant, so it’s not a credible source at all.

renierose :  Again, how am I racist? Because I acknowledge and talk about the fact that “white privilege” (which I benefit from as well–since I look pretty white), is a real thing?

You literally make no sense. And you are using your “trump card” (pun intended) to act like Trump. No evidence, just keep shouting the same thing because you feel offended by facts being pointed out.

Pretty soon, you are going to say you want to punch me, just like Trump said he wanted to punch people at the DNC.

Mrs.Sugabee2003 :  Sorry that was a typo.  The poll is moving faster and I meant to say he has almost 40%.  Which is remarkable on Weddingbee considering the demographic.

And my bet is lots of people voting in this WB poll for Clinton aren’t even U.S. citizens who really can vote.  My expectation was that Trump would get nil so this is promising.  Not to you, though, of course.

    Sunfire :  1. He isn’t even near 40%, sitting right around 30%.

    2. Credibility has nothing to do with liberal vs. conservative slant. It has to do with factual based reporting, per definition: “the quality of being trusted and believed in.”

Many people trust it. Doesn’t matter if it is liberal. So it is credible. You don’t have to like it (since it doesn’t cater to your perspective), but it is credible.

Also, just because you don’t want to acknowledge that privileges exist, doesn’t mean they aren’t real.

Privilige is when you think something is not a problem because it is not a problem for you personally. Plain and simple.

ETA: Hillary still has more than double Trump on this poll. The Weddingbee is majority US Americans. So while foreigners are likely voting, it wouldn’t make up the difference. Besides, if foreigners are seeing that Trump isn’t a good candidate, then hopefully Americans will realize that too. Afterall, our President has to conduct foreign affairs with other countries. We wouldn’t want someone who is universally hated by all countries and would continue to embarass us daily.

concordbee :  The splitting of the vote possibly helping Trump is the ONLY reason I’m voting for Hillary.

Mrs.Sugabee2003 :  your obsession and focus on race as witnessed by every single comment you have made is proof of your racism.

Go back two posts to where you somehow connected Trump’s desire to fix the US economy to race.  Even your last comment about how you benefit from white privilege as a white looking woman is obsessive.

Can you imagine that there are people who do not focus in on skin color or ethnicity any more than they do on say, hair style or lip stick color?  That’s what it means to be not racist.

renierose :  You do not make any sense. The topic of race came up, so I addressed it. You are calling me racist, so of course I am going to respond to you with comments about race.

You still are failing to prove any points. Trump has made no plans for economic rejuvination. He has planned to build a wall between the US and Mexico (race focused, but I guess you could say that would create jobs), he wants to export and keep out immigrants (race focused), he wants to keep muslims out of the country (race focused) and he wants to punch anyone who says bad things about him.

Please, enlighten with his detailed economic policy to make this country better financially. I am asking seriously, give me a summary of that plan.

Mrs.Sugabee2003 :  the reason I don’t make sense is because you are experiencing cognitive dissonance.  I make perfect sense, just not to you.

gwendolyn86 :  I’m empathetic to your fiancé’s situation, but I do think there needs to be better management of illegal immigrants. America can’t comfortably house everyone who wants to leave their home country. I don’t agree with Trump’s proposed tactics, but I do agree that illegal immigration needs to be better addressed. America’s schools are overcrowded enough in many cases without the added students who are attending schools in America via illegal immigration.

How do people not realise not voting or voting for a third party is basically giving a vote to Trump!? How people can even fathom voting for someone who has no political experience, is racist and has absolutely no solid platform is mind boggling and really makes me never want to touch foot in the U.S. again.

I need to not come in this thread anymore I am getting high anxiety reading some of this.

For the record, I’m not the biggest fan of Trump.  He has a lot of downsides.  I dislike his Twitter rants and the stupid things he sometimes spouts off most of all.

However, I have witnessed the rise of the Clinton machine to the detriment of the U.S. for far too many well-documented decades.  The Clintons need to retire and enjoy their massive wealth, lovely grandchildren and white privilege.  And they need to do it well away from the White House.

tessadub :  Or someone who would have an unsecured server in her basement containing classified emails.

Or someone who would run a foundation that takes money for favors from countries that consistently abuse human rights, gay rights and women’s rights.  And while holding the position of Secretary of State, no less.

renierose :  Haha, Ok, again with “trump card.” You actually have an opportunity to enlighten us all and tell us about Trump’s great plan to make Amercian great, but you fall back on “cognitive dissonance.” I was a Psychology major and I am familiar with the term, you are unfortunately using it incorrectly. How sad. It is the state of having inconsistent thoughts, beliefs, or attitudes, especially as relating to behavioral decisions and attitude change. So your statement doesn’t make sense.

I am so tired of people who cannot answer questions, but keep typing or shouting the same thing.
