Nice! You can make a lot of progress with push ups if you do them often! I can do about 20 without stopping on my toes (“man” style haha). I usually do 20, 16, 14 with breaks in between.

Me!  I do all of my push-ups on my toes.  I don’t consider it “man” style though, just normal.

Congrats! That is wonderful!

@Mrs.KMM:  I know, I’m with you. I don’t consider it “man style” but rather regular push ups.

Please call them “man-style”, they are just pushups. I recently did a 100-pushup challenge, which starts you off slow and builds you up to doing 100 pushups in a row.

I can’t, but I am looking forward to the day I can. Still too much weight on my frame/too weak in my arms.

In all the gym classes in school that I had, thats the only way we were allowed to do them.

I didn’t even realize there was a way to do girly push-ups until way after my days of gym class! I feel weird sitting on my knees and usually do the normal plank push-ups. I can’t do as many, but I’d rather do fewer reps that are more difficult than a ton of easier reps.

Me! It was my first milestone when I started working out. I was so happy on that day I came home and did them in the kitchen for FI!

I can now do 30 ๐Ÿ™‚ (3 sets of 10 not 30 in a row)

I’ve always been able to do full push-ups, but then I’ve always been brawny for a girl. I don’t know it it’s genetics or growing up on steroids, but I’ve always had bigger biceps than about half of my guys friends. Sometimes it comes in handy, like in my last job where I had to move 50lb bags of soil all the time.

I’ve finally figured out that my first step to managing my weight/appetite is getting adequate amounts of sleep. I started fixing my sleep patterns last week and I’ve already lost a couple pounds without changing anything else.

Nope! Haha ๐Ÿ™‚ I could when I was doing 30DS every day, but then I got sick for like 6 weeks and I can’t do it anymore. I’m working it, though.
