We had the best man carry both since my Maid/Matron of Honor didn’t have any pockets

We gave both of our rings to best man, but another option we had was to give them to our pastor right before the ceremony.

I’ve already known the best man to carry both.

I may wear FI’s on my thumb and he’ll wear mine on his pinky.  This way here we know where they are at all times =)

Our best man carried both. He had pockets and could easily get them out during the ceremony, whereas my Maid/Matron of Honor had her hands full holding both of our bouquets.

When I was the Maid/Matron of Honor at my sister’s wedding, I carried the groom’s ring and the best man carried my sister’s ring.

my Fiance was the best man in a wedding last June, and he carried both rings.. the Maid/Matron of Honor usually has her hands full.. and doesn’t have pockets.

I’ve always seen it as the best man. However in our wedding we had no attendants, and my father-in-law held on to both until it was time!

We were in the same situation, and our Best Man (well, actually Best Woman) carried both rings. It really wasn’t a big deal and I bet none of the guests even noticed who was holding the rings.

All the weddings I’ve been to have had no kids participating and have had the best man carry them. It would be hard for the Maid/Matron of Honor to do so as she wouldn’t necessarily have pockets to hold it in whereas most tuxedos or suits have a pocket for the best man. Of course, it would be another story if it were a best woman… but really, its whatever works for you.

We had a ring bearer, but we had dummy rings on the pillow.  Our Best Man carried both rings.

Even though we had a ring bearer, we had the best man carry the rings.  The ring bearer just carried a pillow and pretended to hand something to the best man.  It was easier that way than having to humble around with knots if we had tried to tie the rings to the pillow.
