I don’t think it matters – they’re going to eventually see it anyway AND it will look completely different with you in it.

I shared my gown with my wedding party and both our mom’s.  The only person who I’m deadset on not seeing it until the wedding day is my Fiance.

I showed my mom and dad (who were there when I picked out the dress), sister, a coworker (who won’t be invited anyways), and my grandma.  I will probably show my FI’s mother a pic, too.  My weddding is still a yea off, so I doubt anyone will remember exactly what my dress looks like πŸ™‚

Honestly it really doesn’t matter. I showed my bridal party and some family members (mom and Future Mother-In-Law, my grandmother and some of my aunts). Plus the dresses always look so different on the models than they do on everyone else (that was my experience anyways!!) so people will still be surprised. πŸ™‚

Pretty much every female I’ve come in contact with that knows about the wedding. I almost wish I hadn’t but c’est la vie, at least Mr. KO hasn’t seen it yet… unless he’s been snooping which is entirely possible.

I’ve shown it to pretty much anyone who’s asked, even my Fiance. But like the OP, it was just the picture of the model in it (in white), and it looks WAY different on me. It also looks like a totally different dress in the ivory/champagne I ordered it in. I think it’s fine.

I showed it to my bridesmaids, my mom and my grandmother. I know this sounds weird, but I also showed it to a bunch of 9th grade girls. πŸ˜› I’m a teacher, and they begged to see it after school one day- lol.

I didn’t really care if anyone saw it; my main thing was I didn’t want my dad or my SO to see it before I was coming down the aisle. πŸ™‚

I swore I wasn’t going to show it around much, but people asked, so I obliged.  I kind of wish I hadn’t but what’s done is done.

I showed it to my bridal party, any many close family members. I also posted it on my blog, so a few more people saw it that way.

I don’t really care that much about who sees it, except Fiance. I figure, it’s going to look way different in person in my size and with all my accessories and hair done than it does in the pictures of me at the dress store trying on a sample that’s twice my size.

Ive only had 4 people see my gown..my mom, my Maid/Matron of Honor, my Girlfriend who livs in NC and this little old lady that walks my mall regularly LOL. (no lie) Its been a massive secret from Fiance..unless he sneaks into the guest bedroom to peek. But he knows it is very important to me that he doesnt see until the wedding, and he is really cool with it and promised to not break that trust. SWOOON~

I’ve shown all of my bridesmaids, my mom, my fiance’s mother, and my grandmother. I really don’t care who sees it except I do NOT want my fiance to see it until the big day.

I’ve shown it on me to my mom and sister, since they shopped with me, and sent the runway picture to my dad and my pilates instructor (so she would know just how hard I need to work to look like that in it!!) Otherwise, I’m not showing it to anyone until the actual wedding – it’s just a tradition, and my mom would freak if she knew I was showing it to people. Plus, I like the surprise factor πŸ™‚
