I”m making mine now and i’m curious. Who did you ask for opinions? Anyone? The people who contributed financially? The Aunt who ‘knows’ everything about everyone? Did you draw names out of a hat?
I’m finding it a tad stressful and mine is only for 35 people (or maybe the small number makes who you sit by more important … I dunno). I also fear asking my Future Mother-In-Law for help because she has such strong opinions and would expect groupings based on tradition and ‘rank’.
What did you do?

We made up about 80% of the seating chart. The rest we left up to Father-In-Law because they were friends of their family. We didn’t really know them, so we had no idea who should be sitting together!
The rest of our guests were fairly easy, as there were natural breaks in the table numbers and how our guests knew each other. It just somehow worked out for us.

My hubby and I did what we could, then asked for input from both of our parents. I think the more hands you have “on deck”, the more complicated it may get. Good Luck!
