I had a hard choice– I don’t have any sisters to make it easy!  I have a friend from high school who I will always be close with- she even introduced me and my Fiance.  My friend from college is someone who has really stood by me through thick and thin, and I feel almost as close to her as I do to my friend from high school.  In the end, I chose the college friend because she is so much more reliable- my high school friend is notoriously flaky.

It’s just both of my sisters ( my sister and his sister , I hate using sister in law !) and i’m not really having a Maid of Honor . I really wanted my best friend up there but my FH is only having one groomsman and it would just look strange. So I’ve told her she’s my Honorary Maid of Honor, kinda like Big Fat Greek Wedding!

I am close in different ways to my friends and sister, so I didn’t want to single one out as the Maid/Matron of Honor. Therefore, I’m just having a bunch of bridesmaids.

I have two MOHs.  My sister is my maid of honor, but she is really too busy to help with wedding tasks since she’s in grad school.  My Matron of Honor is my best friend from college and ever since, and she’s very organized and can help a lot.  She is actually our MOH/officiant.

I am having co-MOH: my best friend & sister. Then three bridesmaids. I think that it makes it hard for the co-mohs to figure out where their responsibilities lie with regards to showers/bachelorette parties, etc.. I’ll have to figure it out I guess- my sister is sort of a symbolic bridesmaid I think…

Am having 4 women stand next to me.. 2 college friends, one friend from HS and the other my cousin. I will most likely choose my cousin (even though in the past 2 years we have had a huge fight that almost broke our friendship) and my friend. My cousin and I are trying to repair our friendship and are both making a huge effort.  My HS friend has been my friend since I was 14. She is true and loyal and like my sister!!

I have two sisters, and when the first one of us got married, we made a deal that to avoid any squabbles we would always have each other as co-MOHs.  I’m the last one of us to get married, and I’m sticking to the deal and having my two sisters (who are also my best friends) as MOHs!

I asked both my sister and my best friend.  I love my sister but we are very different people in a lot of ways, I am thrilled she will be standing right next to me on the big day.  I picked my Boyfriend or Best Friend because she introduced us and she has been my life long friend.  I couldn’t pick just one.

My sister is my lifelong best friend. She’s matron of honor and since it’s the second time for her and she’s gracious enough to want to do that role again, she picked out the dresses!  And I wholeheartedly agree with her choices b/c it’s the same thing I wanted too!

She has been there for me and my son, thru thick and thru thin.  I am so blessed to have her in my life.

I have two sisters and couldn’t choose. Plus, the pressure was too great for both of them. One sister is only 16 and the other is in Med School. So, I chose my oldest friend who is still a permanant staple in my life.

My Maid/Matron of Honor is my cousin, even though she is only 3 months older than my sister she and I were closer than my younger sis and I. I have known for awhile that I wanted to ask her. Family is super important to me and I don’t really have any friends that I am that close with.

    My sissyface is my MOH!!!!

I love my sister more then anything. I have always wanted her to be my maid of honor. Though it’s a little hard because she is older then I am, but not in a relationship and is sometimes hurt by this. She doesn’t show it openly very often and has always been supportive of me and my fiance but I can tell that it stinks to be the "big sister" watching her "little sister" get married before her. But she always smiles and has let it go and is so happy to be a part of my big day.

I have a twin sister, so picking her as my Maid/Matron of Honor was a no-brainer. 🙂
