How many people do I have to give gifts to? We’re paying for the wedding, rehearsal dinner, and Sunday brunch ourselves.
BMs are a must, but my mom? His mom? His stepmom, who is also our officiant? His dad? My fiance? The friends who are being our ceremony musicians? The friend who is sewing the BM’s dresses? Am I missing anyone?
What’s appropriate for the parents? What’s appropriate for the fiance, who doesn’t wear a watch or jewelry, doesn’t drink, isn’t in to gadgets?

We’re paying for nearly all of the wedding ourselves but we’re getting small gifts for all of our parents. (We’re leaning towards picture frames – cliche, I know).
Not sure what I’m getting my Fiance yet either. I’m having our monogram embroidered on a handkercheif for him to carry the day of (but he usually carries handkercheifs anyway so this “fits”) and maybe some cufflinks. For the a big gift I’m still not sure. Maybe this jacket from “his” NFL team he’s been looking at forever.. but that doesn’t feel very romantic. 🙂
I think your list is pretty complete – parents, BMs, GMs, and anyone who has helped in sgnficant ways wth the wedding – e.g., Readers, musicians, etc.
While I tend personally to get carried away with gifts, I don’t think they have to be big – just tokens awknowledging their help! good luck!
