I think plus size only because for thin people, it seems the clothes are getting tinier at popular department stores. At least the ones I shop at anyway.

Any body type other than average height and average weight will have a hard time shopping. Ladies who are taller than average, slimmer than average, bigger than average or shorter than average will all have hard times shopping.

I’m average, but I can’t find pants that fit well. They are either too short or too long. I’m not petite and I’m not 5’7.

I would think thin people have the easiest time find clothes since they won’t have the curves to try and fit. That is frustration. I don’t know that I like what my momma gave me. 😀

I find this interesting! I will have to watch this to see what happens.  I am average build 5’7 and size 6ish.  I think that the extreme in either direction have a hard time finding clothes.   I have a friend that is a double zero and she can really not find anything that fits her.  She is 29 and could easily fit in little girl clothes.  Most of her clothes have to be bought in a size 0 or 2 and altered to fit her.  I also think that bigger girls have a hard time too.

I’m well within the normal 0-14 retail range and while I have trouble sometimes, I feel like there’s a lot of stores that carry my size.  While it’s hard to find clothes that fit every part of me well, it’s WAY easier than it is for people outside that range.  While I am sure it’s much harder for people both smaller and larger than me to find clothes, I do think it’s harder for plus size girls compared to extremely thin ones.

    All!

At 6’0 and 150 lbs, I am tall and thin. Finding clothing is difficult and expensive. On the other hand, I love having a tall, slim, athletic build.

Funny, my wedding dress was a perfect size 8 and I did not need any alterations.

You forgot petite.  I’m 5’0″; even petite pants are always too long for me.  Maybe because I’m a size 8.  I think it was easier when I was a size 2 back in HS.

I don’t get it- wedding dresses?  Or clothes in general?

I have an hourglass figure, for real, so I fill out dresses well, but sometimes they are too small in the boobs.

Since I am 6 feet tall, I have a 36 inseam in jeans so I often HAVE to get designer jeans.  Cha-ching!

I’m a shortie @ 5’1″, but size 22 and I have the hardest time finding decent pants and jeans. I think plus-size women definitely have a harder time. I can’t find decent clothes that don’t cost an arm and a leg because they have to use extra material.

I’m a size 6/8, and it is always hard for me to find clothes because my size seems to be the first to sell. There are plenty of XS or S on the racks, but no M and hardly any L.

What really sucks is when you’re almost plus size because of your chest, but your bottom half isn’t. But that’s just my gripe. I think the only people who don’t have problems finding clothes are those rich enough to have every single garment sewn just for them :).

I’m petite, 5’3″ and a size 3. I never had a hard time finding clothes until it came to find my wedding dress. In Los Angeles where there are so many size 0 model and actress wanna-bes, I don’t know why every single store only carried sample size 10’s and why all the salespeople had to comment on how small I was like there’s something wrong with me. So I would say wedding dresses are hard to shop for anyone who’s short, and anyone who’s not a size 8-12. For daily clothes I would imagine it’s harder for plus size girls.

I think people who are either very petite or plus-size have the most trouble finding clothes.
