So I’m getting married this Saturday and my fiance and I are alittle confused as to who to tip. We are certain we need to tip the DJ, videographer and photographer. But do we also tip the venue itself? And what about the photobooth or florist? There is a “administrative fee” attached to our venue, I don’t know if that has anything to do with tip…
Any help is appreciated because we are truely clueless on this one.

Good question. I didn’t even think about gratuity! I wonder what percentage is appropriate?

You tip vendors who do not own their own company. We only tipped catering staff, and we probably should have tipped shuttle drivers :x. Our coordinator owner her own company, as did our photographer, watecolor artist, hair person / makeup person…so we didn’t tip any of them.
You tip what is appropriate. I wasn’t going to tip 15% of a really high catering bill (that includes food and service already) to the wait staff. But $50-100/person seemed reasonable.
