We both cook but over the last week I’ve been making meals because I quit my job last week. I have the time and I enjoy it right now but if I was still working you can bet your ass I wouldn’t kepe up what I’m doing now. Our normal routine was that we basically cooked together but seperate meals since he really doesn’t eat what I eat.

We both cook, but I do the majority of it. It’s definitely not a 50/50 split!

I do all the cooking, but not because I’m the woman and it’s my job, but because I like to cook and SO does not (and when he tries, it’s usually pretty bad. haha).  Right now our arrangement is that I do the grocery shopping and cooking (and he does the dishes), and he takes me out to a nice dinner at least once a week and usually brunch/lunch once on the weekend too.

I do all of the fancy/nice dinner cooking. Our schedules are opposite (he doesn’t get home till close to 9 at night) so we eat most of our meals separately. As a result, neither of us cook much, aside from the basic veggie burger/soup/whatever. I LOVE to cook so for the dinners we are able to have together, I never even give him the chance to try to make anything.

He does make me breakfast in the morning though (he turns on the keurig and makes me toast with peanut butter. How romantic!)

We both work full time, so we share the cooking duties.

I do a majority of the cooking not because I’m the woman, but because I genuinely like to. Besides, if it were up to him we’d be eating scrambled eggs and pasta for each meal.

We both cook, but I definitely do way more of it than he does. He’ll do it maaaybe once a week. Last night was my night off apparently. It was nice. Haha. I can’t even get him to cook for me on my birthday (Saturday), he’d rather just take me out. It’s been working well for us for the past few years.

I voted that he does all the cooking.  FI definitely enjoys cooking more than I do.  I’ll actually cook maybe 10% of the time.  I usually do all the prep work on the meat and get the salad done while he does the rest.  Since Fiance just went to a day schedule and doesn’t get home til 7 pm, it’s now on me to cook for the time being.  Once he goes back to his night schedule, he’ll cook on his days off and when he’s at work and I’m at home alone, I’ll cook something for myself of course.  He cooks and I always clean.

We both cook together usually. I typically plan the menu and write the grocery list, and am the driving force in the kitchen; but he helps me out when I’m cooking by cutting up stuff, getting ingredients together, measuring stuff, etc.

    I do it all.

I actually hate cooking, I just hate the thought of my meticulous kitchen being messed up even more. Fiance never goes in there, unless it’s to the fridge to get a drink or something.
