klbrend:  I used to be the same way, then I bought that Conair curl secret and my curls now hold all day, even after washing my hair and using conditioner. It is fool proof too, it grabs the hair and spits it out when it’s curly.

My hair refuses to hold a curl for anything but a wand! I’ve tried rollers and everything, def try a wand and I think mine was like only $25 too

I relate!

My issue is that no matter if its curled with GHD’s or a curling iron it NEVER holds and just goes limp.

I give up trying now.

I have very fine hair, it is like trying to curl embroidery floss. The only thing that works for any length of time is rag curling like grandma did.

I’m hopeless. Iron, wand, straightener. I’ve tried it all and failed at it all. The annoying part is it looks awesome when other people do it for me.

Ahh yes I’m not alone! I feel like such a fool when the girls and I go out, they all have really lush styled curls that they’ve done themselves… Thens theres me… Who looks like I am thirteen year old girl experimenting :-/

klbrend:  Count me in.  Even when the stylist does it the curls or waves fall out within a couple of hours ๐Ÿ˜” My Damn Indian Hair. But if I straighten it, it will stay straight indefinitely!

klbrend:  You’re not alone.  I have absolutely no idea how to curl my hair with a curling iron.  I have naturally curly hair which is nice, but sometimes I want those perfectly styled Victoria’s secret curls that are luscious and beautiful and I just can’t do it.  When I try, I absolutely feel your pain

I had the same problem but I bought a Remington curling wand from Amazon for like $18 and it’s amazing.

I suck at curling my hair… I’ve tried and TRIED and TRIED to do it with my straightener, to no avail! But, a hairstylist also had trouble doing it with her straightener, but it worked fine with her curler/wand?

I can’t even do my own with a curler/wand. I’ve burned myself so many times lol… I usually get SO to curl my hair (bless him! hehe). My hair is waist length though and it just doesn’t hold ๐Ÿ™

My hair will not keep a curl it is thick and heavy. The curl will hold for 20 min and fall out.

my hair doesn’t hold a curl either. Day old dirty hair with mouse or spray mouse helps. I put my hair in a high ponytail very securely. Divide into sections and curl. It’s the easiest method I have found
