thepinkflamingo:  This is how I am too! ๐Ÿ™‚ Like on vacation, I could eat days worth in one day haha. I just want everything, especially if it’s somewhere new. If I’m feeling down, I’m just not hungry and feel like I wouldn’t enjoy the food anyway and don’t want to feel bad about not enjoying it, so I just nibble on crackers or something simple.

kitty_cupcake:  Oh, I totally do.  My husband is out of town right now too and I’m having some serious anxiety about finding a job (trying to find my first job out of grad school and am the only one of my graduating class to not have one yet) and I want all the food!  Especially sweets. I go to sugary things, especially carby things.  And wine.  It’s really bad.  And unhealthy in a few different ways.  Ugh.  ๐Ÿ™  I’m sorry you had a rough day.  Sending you good vibes for tomorrow!

I personally completely lose my appitite when I am sad or stressed. No energy or motivation to eat or drink. Its horrible, I know. But I just loose all feelings of hunger and thirst

I mostly eat when I’m bored. I will catch myself doing laps around the kitchen hunting for more food when I’ve got nothing else going on.

When I’m sad, I tend to wanna just curl up with a movie and all my favorite junk food. I’m starting to get out of the habit of doing that though, because the junk/greasy food always makes me feel terrible afterwards :/

If you absolutely have to eat, I’d suggest a fruit & veggie smoothie or a good salad, because it will really pick up your mood. It’s gonna be hard to choose that over pizza but ya knowww lol.

Oh my goodness, what an average day. I will make myself a healthy green smoothie. And then eat a little bit of pizza.

I definitely eat my feelings, but it doesn’t really matter how I feel – I always find an excuse to eat, be it to compensate, to celebrate, to have something to do… Give me food!
I’m currently in the process of losing weight for the wedding, too, and found out that the only thing that works is actually writing down everything (!) I eat and counting calories. It’s so tiring! All I want right now is pizza and chocolate…

molokoa:  This! It’s especially annoying if we haven’t got any snacks in. Because then my brain starts scanning the freezer, wonders what the most tasty and easy pasta dish is and if I’m desperate for sweet stuff then I’ve always got baking supplies and I bulk buy baking dark chocolate buttons (which are good in a bowl with some pecans, honey and yoghurt, if you’re wondering) so I can bake a cake far too easily! Oh, and if we’re confessing…If I’m depressed and or incredibly lazy then I’ll make a microwave cake. Just mix cake ingredients in a cereal bowl, add some of those buttons and microwave for around a minute. It comes out hot and obviously, I have the self restraint to not burn my mouth. *Hangs head in shame*

I do!! Wish I didnt ๐Ÿ˜ž when I have a bad at work it takes literally all of my will power not to dive face first into some Haagen dazs ice cream….some days I’m not too successful lol

me too! i love food, all of it. healthy, not healthy. and when i’m overwhelemed. i eat! it’s like the one thing i can control. get. it. in. check.

Miss_Mae:  LOLOLOL YES!!! I’m right there with you!!! I like my pizza with a side of pizza and I want it all the time always….with icrecream for dessert. Throw in some French fries or cheesy bread and I would literally die of happiness. 

The struggle is real!
