I like that gown a lot.  But strapless/low cut is not my style at all.

That’s a beautiful dress!! I got a dress that I never expected! I thought I would get a lace ball gown and ended up with a satin fit and flare! So different! It’s all about how you feel and look in it! You look stunning!

It’s so funny how that happens. I was dead set on a lace mermaid with a sweetheart neckline and ended up with a plain mikado ballgown. It does have the sweetheart neckline but I also have a bolero which is covering it up.

I went into my appointment telling the saleswoman that I wanted nothing strapless, nothing beaded, no rhinestones, and nothing that might look trendy later. I tried on the dresses that matched what I asked for and was happy, but underwhelmed. Then she brought me a strapless, beaded, rhinestone dress with a modern looking tier on it. Obviously that was my dress. (Wtoo Bree and Almira, if you’re interested!) My friends and I were all stunned, but the saleswoman said it happens about half the time, that people come in saying one thing and leave with something totally different!

You look beautiful! Congrats!

Your dress is gorgeous!

I went in to my shopping appointments wanting an a-line dress, and basically refusing to try on all mermaid or fit-and-flare styles. However, once my mom had me try on one fit and flare, I ended up loving it – it was a really flattering shape and I loved how it made me feel.

This happened to me. Which I believe has been causing my dress regret/anxiety. I went in looking for a mermaid or trumpet style dress. I ended up with an A-line dress with an illusion top. I loved it so much more then my original dress but have now been questions myself.

I think its hard because we have so many beautiful dresses to pick from. For what its worth, this dress is gorgeous!! I love the top!!!

angelinagonzalez :  Is that grey or white? I love the color!  Can I be a butt and ask for details?

michelle357 :  I love the neckline!

I wanted a black trumpet gown originally. Then I wanted an ivory tea length. I got a light pink a line.

I was set on getting a v-neck A-line dress and ended up falling in love with a sheath dress!

I did not want anything too fitted or with a train. I initially thought I’d end up with a tea length or just a formal dress (not wedding)…but I ended up with a fit and flare with a train and I loved it!
