Who else in the US is excited about going to vote in the midterms today? This is just a little nonpartisan reminder to my fellow US bees to go vote today if you haven’t already! Any races you’re following closely?
If you need help finding your polling place or knowing what is on your ballot, go here:

I haven’t been this exited since the last time I voted! Gonna go make an offering today to my patron saint, Susan B. Anthony.

We’re going after work like we always do! I have friends that say it doesn’t matter and then bitch about stuff voting would have fixed. I refuse to listen – if you don’t vote you can’t complain!

I’m voting after work. My Fiance said this morning that he hopes the line isn’t too long at our polling place (he has a bunch of stuff to do today after work), and I’m like ummmm sorry my dear, I know you have plans, but I’m hoping the line is the longest we’ve ever seen it!

Dropping our ballots off on our lunch break today!

I just recently moved to Cali, and we have early voting here, so I dropped my ballot off over a week ago! I used to love going to the polls on Election Day, because it felt really exciting, but I can’t deny that this way was wayyyy more convenient.

I voted and am depressed by the lack of ethical responsiblity and transparency that the candidates have.
I had to decide which of the two lying criminals would do the least amount of damage to this country.

I voted absentee a couple weeks ago!

I voted Saturday and was on a high with the amount of people that were voting early in my area!
I also agree with bywater :
though… I see SO MANY ads on the morning news before work and it frustrates me so much that there is a lot of calling out some big-time negative points of other candidates without addressing their own personal negative aspects. a lot of mudslinging leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. But I am still hopeful!

I’ve been reminded to vote no less than 50 times in the last two days – and I’m not exaggerating. I’m happy to vote and exercise this right, but I’m getting so annoyed by the reminders that I think I’m going to take a break from social sites for the rest of the day. I almost feel like the teenager who’s parent nags them to the point where they don’t want to do anything just because of the nagging.
Perhaps this is because I’m a college student and the political parties advertise really hard here, and are going overboard in trying to get us to vote. There’s been messages on the sidewalks reminding and encouraging us to vote for two months now. I’m really excited and relieved to finally just have this day overwith so my life won’t be swamped with ads and pressure anymore.
At least the parties have been very respectful towards each other here. I’ve heard of minimal attack ads, and the ones I do hear of are funded by outside political interests, not the candidates themselves. This could be because I don’t watch TV tho, haha.

I voted this morning! What a privilege it is to vote freely & safely.

been feeling super smug, I voted 6 weeks ago (absentee ballot) 😏
So happy to see all the excitment around voting. Makes me believe in democracy again (sorta. like in the hopeful way)
