So I decided to go with air brush make-up BUT as I was shopping around I found out how much they were charging, an arm and a leg! Prices range from 800=1,200. I was wondering if anyone else was faced with this? If so did you ladies pay for it anyway of opt for the other alternative of regualar foundation make-up? I really want air brushed make-up so the pictures can come out nice but I don’t know how I feel about dropping 1k for it :/. Any thoughts opinions?

that is CRAZY! My hairstylist does makeup too and she is charging me $80 for the airbrush makeup.
Not sure where you are located, but I’d keep shopping around, maybe call some local salons to see if they have someone like my stylist.

That’s insane. Mine ended up being a little over $250. This included tip, airbrush, hair, makeup, and fake lashes. I also got done up by a hotel salon on the strip in Vegas.

Mine was around $200 + tip for my hair & airbrush makeup, and they travelled to us. The airbrush makeup for my bridesmaids was $70 each (they paid themselves if they wanted it). That price sounds VERY high. That is just for your makeup?

@MissMissy: for less than HALF that price you could BUY an airbrush machine and the products and by the wedding be a freaking pro at it. airbrush makeup is not hard to do so if it honestly comes to that (the price i mean) i’d be heading to sephora!

I am having my makeup airbrushed, and I’m not sure what the price was individually, but I am having my hair and airbrushed makeup done day of as well as a trial for both for $350, and I live in the San Diego area.

I am going airbrush, but I believe I am going to purchase my machine/makeup and do it myself. Of course, I am going to have to try it out and perfect it consistantly well before the wedding, but you can get mini airbrush machines for as little as $100 [and then the additional cost of makeup]

Whoa! Pricey. I live on Oahu and my airbrush makeup will cost me $90. I found an artist that does it out of her home. I did the makeup trial for our engagement photos which cost me $70 but, I think it was worth it. Also, the cost is 90 because she gave me a discount for adding on my Maid/Matron of Honor, bridesmaid and MOB. All together, hair and makeup for all of us is $550.

I guess it depends on where you live, but my wedding is in two weeks, and I’m having mine airbrushed. For the trail run, it was $40 and for the big day, it’ll be $60. She’s charging $50 for each of my bridesmaids.
I think the price you were quoted is just outrageous, but at the same time, it looks like you live in CA and so perhaps that accounts for SOME of the additional cost…Still that is so much..!
