i’ve read the book, but i haven’t seen the musical! i hear it’s pretty different though.
Me!!!!! I looove the song POPULAR! I sing it in the car all the time! =) Yes, I get strange stares from other drivers sometimes but what the heck….it’s such a happy song. =)
Wonderful show. Very different from the book. Toss Toss.
@sewing – yes, i have heard the book is very different, i am planning on reading it soon as well!
@hazel – haha, yeah, that song is AMAZING! I need to dl the soundtrack because it’s playing in my head, on loop.
@ggsp – for sure! i didn’t know what i was missing!!
I agree that’s it’s very different from the book, and I think I wished I’d seen it before I read the book so I wouldn’t have know that. But I still loved it each of the 3 times I’ve seen it 🙂
@amykate – lol toss.toss.
I love the music, but I haven’t seen the show yet!! They’re coming my way here in a few months!!
My brother and I won the lottery for $25 front row tickets to this show a couple of years ago. It was AMAZING.
me me me!!! I saw it for the first time in London and thought it was amazing. Got chills and all!
Then my mom took me for my 20th birthday here in Atlanta. It was still pretty good, but I think the British accents made the London one better. hehe.
My friend played Elfaba in the show in Tokyo. I want to see it again!!!
I love it! Especially the song “For Good”, it was sang at my best friends funeral a few years ago so it always brings me back to better times.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Wicked! We saw it last year and I actually cried when they sang “Defying Gravity”. I had known all the songs for years but to see it all come together was overwhelming and wonderful!
@GirlWithARing – us too! we got the $25 lottery and were in front row…so magical!
I’m a huge WICKED fan. I saw it on Broadway in June for my birthday. I got to go backstage after the show and get a private tour because the maestro went to school and was friends with my sister and went to my church! It was AMAZING and something I’ll never forget!
