I am so interested in this post! I know that digital dating is all the rav but I didn’t know that >65% of the bees met their SO online! I’m afriad that this poll may be skewed because bees that met their SO online are more likely to answer this poll?
Regardless, if this poll is not too skewed, it’s an important discovery!!!! One could make bold sociological statements about we have not just entered a new age but how the traditional way of how people are meeting their future partners only applies to a minority!!

I met my Fiance online but not through a dating site. We were online friends for almost 9 years before meeting in person, and it wasn’t until we met in person that we started to date. 🙂

Eharmony couple here 🙂 Actually funny, because he was really timid … so after a couple of weeks of emailing I asked him out for coffee (since my eharmony membership was ending), and he said he wanted to wait a little longer … I totally took that as the brush off … but was happily mistaken.

Darling Husband and I met on Yahoo Personals, but we were both too cheap to pay for the actual service. So I facebook stalked him, and we met up for coffee! We tell older family that we met at the coffee place where we had our first date, but the rest is history!

We met online at Okcupid.com I have been online dating since before people knew what the heck that was. Heh. My first “boyfriend” was when I was 12-13(1995-96. Wow!). We’d met in an online gaming chat room. So…13-14 years of almost exclusively online dating garnered me the love of my life. 🙂 (and more relationships then you could shake a stick at. heh)

We met at plentyoffish.com…since the begining I have always been honest about where we met except to his friends. Boyfriend or Best Friend is shy about it and doesn’t want this friends to know. When they first met me and asked I just looked at my Boyfriend or Best Friend and let him lie to them. I’m sure that eventually they’ll find out. Especially since my friends know the truth! Oh well.. 🙂

Wow, thats awesome that a lot of bees met their Fi online and it worked out (obvious)!! I didn’t meet my Fi online, but I did try eHarmony for a couple of months and then once I quit, a month later I met Fi. It’s funny how things work out!!

I didn’t meet my boyfriend through a dating site but I met him through myspace when I was in highschool. We ended up going to the same school and really hit it off.

I met my Fiance on Eharmony. When I tell people I get the ‘oh really’ look and “weren’t you scared you’d match up with a weirdo?” To be honest I never thought about the scary side of it. I was very caustious by nature anyway.
