I feel like I talk to myself whenever I am working because I thinking about so many things sometimes I just need to hear it aloud. Talking to yourself is only a problem if you answer yourself ๐Ÿ™‚ Annnd I thnk it is completely normal and def a sign of high intelligence ๐Ÿ˜‰

I talk to myself ALL THE TIME!  Whenever Darling Husband catches me doing it, he laughs at me.  And I get strange looks from people sometimes when I do it out in public (like I was talking to myself the other day as I left the doctor’s office and was walking to my car in the parking deck).

I hope it is a sign of high intelligence! ๐Ÿ™‚

I talk to myself at work, it’s more of talking through the work steps to remind myself of things. I do it at home with some things. I don’t however have a 2 sided convo with myself Laughing

I talk to myself alot, especially when I’m panicking or working through a very hard task……..

I trust myself to talk some sense into myself~~~~~~

Not as much as I used to, but sometimes I do catch myself mulling things over out loud.

I hope it means high intelligence and not insanity!

I talk to myself… ish. I talk like theres a mouse in my pocket or something, instead of addressing myself.

I’m an only child and I definitely talk to myself, both in my head and out loud.  Though much more often in my head.  It’s kind of like a running commentary, or like Wonderwoman217 said in the other thread I rehearse potential conversations!

I’m always cursing and mumbling under my breath at work.  It’s all I can do to keep myself from screaming at my co-workers and clients.  I’m sure most of them think I’m insane but that’s okay.  My job made me this way!

I talk to myself regularly.  I’m pretty good at keeping it inside my head at work and in public, but every now and then I’ll slip.

The funny ones is when I’m talking to myself and someone thinks I’m talking to myself.  I get frustrated when they ask me to repeat myself. . .because I wasnt’ talking to them.  It’s especially frustrating when I have to explain the statement because half of the conversation happened inside my head.

Fiance has finally learned to ask if I’m talking to myself.

I do far too often, and sometimes without knowing it.  Undecided

My Boyfriend or Best Friend has “caught” me several times and I guess because he grew up in a house full of people it wasn’t a habit he ever got into – I grew up an only child with parents who were rarely in the room with me unless they needed me to do soemthing, so for me, it’s just how I think, sometimes in coversational form, sometimes just talking out loud.  I guess it can seem pretty nuts if you’re not used to it.
