Seriously, I went to get a couple of things for my dad and my Maid/Matron of Honor. I ended up with 2 shirts and a vest for my fiancé, pants, a sweater, a dress, and a shirt for me. I did find gifts for my dad and Maid/Matron of Honor as well, but I just kept finding great deals and I couldn’t stop myself! I also found this adorable circus elephant ornament which is a perfect first Christmas ornament for us because of our carnival/circus themed wedding.

I’m sorry to say I did the same.
I did get my FI’s Christmas gifts, as well as my mother’s and worked out a gift for my little sister & aunt.
But I also bought some new makeup (better for winter), and a dressy shirt to wear with my jeans to Christmas & New Years.

Cute ornament to go with your theme! I have found lots of great sales and did buy a few things for Darling Husband and I too. It’s hard to pass up a steal….

@Ivorybuttons: I’m glad it’s not just me! At least you also got other people’s gifts.
@piglet_625: Indeed it is!
It was so hard to keep myself from buying more for my fiancé and I. I already ordered him 2 belt buckles for Christmas a couple of days ago, and now I got him all this stuff. There was so much I found that he would love though.

This cracked me up because Fiance and I did the exact same thing. Lol.

You couldn’t pay me to go out Christmas shopping on a weekend! I’m lucky and have days off during the week.

@julies1949: Today wasn’t my ideal day to go shopping either, it was just the most convenient. I stayed out of stores with huge lines.

If I do my dad’s christmas shopping that is part of the deal, one for them, one for me. He just gets too frustrated shopping and I love it, he considers it a small cost not to have to deal with the general public at this time of the year.

I’m awful about that. I have a Christmas party planned for this weekend, and I keep buying stuff for it (essentially, decorating items) instead of buying presents for family. Oops
