Ok, so I have read and heard many things – both on the Bee and elsewhere – about women who have had really bad/painful/awkward first sexual encounters (not just the first time but a couple of times after that as well) and prior to having sex for the first time myself after my wedding, I was really worried that it was going to be this absolutey awful experience…and it wasn’t. Ok, I will admit there was a bit of pain but at no point did I ever think, this is terrible and the sex was “nice”.
So I would like to know if there are any other women out there who found sex to be a slightly painful but nice experience from the get go.

@FromA2B2013: I’m with you! Sex was not very painful for me but I wasslightly older than most virgins and had done lots of reading up on the subject!

@FromA2B2013: My first time was painful for about the first 15 seconds and then it was pretty good. Not bad considering it was both our first times and really not much else had been done before that day.

@FromA2B2013: I actually had to stop Darling Husband going in too far the first few times, otherwise it would have been quite painful (yeah I’m a wimp). But as it was, despite a little pain and a lot of awkwardness, I enjoyed it from night 1. Being able to O certainly helped 🙂

I was 24 the first time I had sex and it was actually ‘nice’, only in that it didn’t hurt. Actually, the first thing I said once we were done was, “that wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be!” Hahaha.

@FromA2B2013: I lost my virginity waaaaay before I met my FH as an older teenager and it wasn’t too bad. At this point I’d been masturbating for years and even had a book of erotica. I was pretty comfortable in my sexuality and I knew how to get myself off. I think sex is often painful or lacks pleasure for women who don’t really know what d do with themselvs and partners who are just as clueless. If you’ve never been touched or touched yourself and neither you or your partner knows how to make you feel good then sex will suck. I’ve had crappy partners before but I’ve never been my own crappy partner so I can’t say for sure.
Maybe women who wait longer to lose it have a better time because they’re more likely to have experimented with themselves? I guess if you wait longer there’s more chance your hymen could have broken from something else too .

@FromA2B2013: my first experience was not painful at all and thoroughly enjoyable.

My first time was very painful, 2-3 times moderately painful, 4-5 times uncomfortable. It took me a while to start enjoying it but once I did it was great. Although I don’t think I’ll ever be able to handle large penises they are just too painful for me no matter how much experience I have. I guess I’m just smaller set in that way.

@EyeLoveKitties: +1, this is the same experience I had.

Sex was not painful for me either, but it was emotionally overwhelming so I cried. It took a few occasions of having sex before it fit totally though.

@FromA2B2013: It was really nice for me the first time. I was 19 and had been with my bofriend for over a year, coming really close to doing it many times but I wanted to be on the pill first. We had been tortuing ourselves so much that by the time it finally happened I was more than ready.
