@AirForceFiance: You give one to whomever you want to honour.  It doesn’t have to be only people with a certain biological tie to you.

I personally did parents, (his) step parents, and my uncle that walked me down the aisle.

I agree with Andielovesj- you can give a bout or corsage to anyone you want to honor at the ceremony. In our case, my Fiance, my dad and brother and our sons will get bouts.  My FIs daughter, my sis in law, his mom and mine will get wrist corsages.  My hostess will also get a small corsage to pin to their lapel.
