haha.. cute thread..

I don’t keep up with my nails, however the night I got engaged I had gotten them done that afternoon because it was Xmas week and I knew I’d be at oher people’s houses and wanted my nails to look their best.

I actually thought I was getting engaged on NYE, but it was a little earlier Wink

I got a mani pedi, but am doing weekly polish change myself. I may splurge on another mani once a month but $$ is tight.

I have!!! I actually like my hands only when my nails are long I feel if not they look manly but I really dont keep them up because they peel and it drives me insane so I wore them short for a long time. We picked out a ring and in the same week I bought an OPI nail treatment that has done wonders, halfway through the bottle and still waiting (its only been three months so it might give you and idea of how much I’ve used it lol)

I love having nice nails and the best thing I do is wear gloves when cooking and doing the dishes. i do however get my gel nails filled and painted every 2-3 weeks without fail.

HA! I didn’t, but I was 99% sure he’d do it while we were on vacation so I made sure I got a gel mani before we left. It paid off! 😉

Haha I spoke to my SO about this yesterday! I told him that I really want to have my nails done for the special day but since it could happen from now until this time next year I have no idea when to start getting the manicures! He couldn’t help but laugh, especially when I asked if I could get a more specific time line, say, 3-6 months? 😛 I’m sorry if I want to be prepared!

Sigh I wish i could….but our infection control policy at the  hospital where i work….i cant have them long at all  or painted (our head infection control nurse said that if when your looking at your palms and hand out flat….if you can see the tips of the nails from the palm side you have to cut them), we are not even allowed to wear clear polish….let alone anything pretty or falsies….i understand it….sometimes i want to paint them anyways….but then i remeber how much i was my hands and use alcohol based wipes and sanitizers…..and i go nuts if i do have them painted and they are chipped at all….

soo sadly i wish i could id really like to try a gel manicure!

I got shellac nails two times since November, but it is SO expensive. So, while I’m waiting, I just paint/repaint my nails about two times a week. 🙂
