Update!

So I planned to start dress shopping on the 28th by checking out a sample sale. I made an appointment at a boutique and my mom is super excited to come with me. I started feeling discouraged about everything and told my SO that I was going to cancel the appointment and that I didn’t want to look like a crazy woman trying on wedding dresses without a ring. My parents on going on vacation for 10 days through Christmas and I said that I won’t tell my mom about the cancellation until she gets back. He told me don’t cancel the appointment…just keep the appointment.

Just now he was talking to my mom and when she asked what we had planned for Christmas Eve, he smiled really hard and just said “oooh I don’t know… oh! Church!” Now I’m wondering what’s gonna happen between now and the 28th! I’m super anxious and excited and of course everyday will feel like an eternity!

Nope, too predictable for us. We never do anything the “right” way!

I know for a fact my honey wont. He believes that the day you get engaged needs to be its own day. That way you can celebrate in the future 🙂
