My Maid/Matron of Honor bought one for me.  We ended up using the little folding scissors, the double sided tape and all the safety pins.  The Best Man’s pants were about 4 sizes too big so we needed all the pins we could get our hands on.

It was nice to have just for peace of mind.

ETA: I saw another poster mentioned a Tide to Go pen.  I happened to have one in my purse that was a lifesaver for my bridesmaid/SIL who discovered a stain on her wrap.

Not married yet, but as a bridesmaid in other weddings…safety pins, Tide to-go pen, bandaids, and benadryl.

not married yet, but my Fiance and I went to a wedding in april and their wedding planner had no such kit…..my Fiance ended up super sick (in the bathroom most of the night) and she had to beg the hotel staff for natural gravol (did not help, he needed pepto or imodium).

I personally plan on having that stuff in a kit just in case ANYONE (even guests) need it…

I made up one for a wedding I was in this past June.

We used:

Blotting papers, safety pins, mini toothbrushes (disposable ones) mints, gum, tissues, advil, hair spray, hair pins and elastics.

I still have most of this stuff so I’m just going to re-use it for my wedding!

I haven’t been married yet, but in my experience coordinating weddings, I have known quite a few people who have needed it.

– One time a bridesmaid popped the strap on her dress while she was trying to get into it (poor thing gained a few pounds before the wedding).  In this case the sewing kit came in handy.

-Once an embellishment on the back of a bride’s shoe popped off. We used the superglue.

-Once a flower girl managed to get to her mommy’s make-up without anyone noticing.  She was playing with her eyeliner and got it on her dress.  We used stain removal wipes for this.

-There have been countless times when there hasn’t been enough pins to pin the boutonnieres. Fortunately we had plenty of extras

-Oh and panty liners work very well for grooms who sweat a lot under their arms.  We’ve had to use these quite a few times.  Just place the stick part on the shirt positioned where armpit is.

The list goes on. . .

@smcs28:  Yes! Actually the Advil was for the guests with headaches! It’s actually super handy and with that many people in attendance something is bound to happen.
