I have bought 3 wedding dresses so far. I am wondering how many bee’s have purchased multiple dresses? What did you do with them? I have sold one of my dresses and plan on selling one more and wearing the 3rd. I am sooooo addicted to wedding dresses I am terrified I will end up buy more of them! lol. Id love to see your styles and find the bee with the most wedding dresses!
Who else has several dresses??? What are your plans? Feel free to post ones your selling. Maybe another bride will want it!
My three dresses:
Sophia Tolli Fabiana- SOLD
Stella York ballgown-for sale
Wtoo Olivia-Wearing it!

5 here…luckily I was able to return the 2nd most expensive one. The other three were inexpensive short or sheath dresses. Ill find a way to repurpose them I suppose. I am wearing one as a reception dress

Mrs.Z.: I remember you commenting on my dress and tempting you but you’d already bouget 3!
One of my bridemaids said as much as she loved her dress she felt like there were plenty of others she could have loved too.. between her comments and stuff I read here, I decided early that whenever I did make a decision, I wouldnt let myself keep looking. i can’t imagine continuing to try on dresses now. I had a 2nd dress appointment after the one where I found my dress and I canceled. I’m normally so indecisive no one thought id be done shopping in less than 2 hrs!
im still on cloud 9 since it’s only been a week. Not sure what I might start thinking months from now. But the store told me i can come visit and try it on anytime so that might need to happen to keep me sane!

Mrs.Z.: I’m also a 5 dress bride. One is from David’s Bridal that I may sell (I bought a dress my Maid/Matron of Honor loved and of course David’s does not do refunds), one is a Bonny sample that is currently my frontrunner to wear. However, I have 3 more arriving next year, and all 3 of those are returnable with a restocking fee. The reason I had to actually order those 3 dresses was because I could not find samples locally to try on, and to me it’s worth it to pay a restocking fee rather than always wonder “what if?”

Me too! Once I found a dress that I loved, and got approval from the Maid/Matron of Honor and the two BMs, that was it. I teared up, didn’t wanna take it off, and it fit into FI’s budget. Done.
I’ve all but banned myself from looking at more dresses. At any rate, I think the dress sets so much of the mood for the day, I’m glad it was the first thing I was able to set in stone.

I bought three…
(guilty face)
My first one is up for sale and ended up being a verrrry expensive change of heart!
I bought an inexpensive dress off the rack in a panic once I realized I wanted a new one…but ultimately found a third dress to wear! I hate being so indecisive but I guess third time’s the charm 🙂
Dress 1- Watters Olina- fingers crossed it will sell!

Dress 2 was from Camille la vie (no photos online!)
Dress 3- Carolina Herrera Astrid

TXbride2015: I do LOVE LOVE LOvE your dress! I totally agree that there is probably 100 different dresses I could see myself getting married in!
Mrs.Vanilla: I am kinda like you. I bought the Wtoo olivia preowned since I couldn’t try it on. It cost me around $500 to go and try it on so instead I invested in buying it. I figure even if I ended up selling it for less Thani bought it for ID still be ahead bc I saved gas/hotel money And time.
KittyParker: good for you! I know I should quit looking but it’s become my hobbie! I’m dress obsessed!
knarffy: your dresses are both stunning! Where are you selling your Olina?
I also bought a sample in kinda a panic (dress 2). I tried on so many dresses I felt like I’d never find one!

Mrs.Z.: I have it on pwd and on tradesy: http://www.preownedweddingdresses.com/dresses/114633/Watters-Olina-5014-Size-2.html
I must’ve tried on at least 100 dresses! It was so much harder than I expected and my friends were IMPOSSIBLE to please. Eventually, I gave up trying to please everyone but I still feel confused at times since I love so many different styles! 🙂 If anyone is interested, the price is negotiable on the Watters dress and I would even consider a trade! I’ve been contemplating getting a reception dress…

I bought 3. One from David’s Bridal and two from BHLDN. I sold the David’s Bridal dress, and will wear both BHLDN dresses. I spent a total of about 1300 on the three dresses plus customs fees because I’m international. It would have cost me over 2000 to even rent one dress where I live so I consider buying 3 a bargain.

knarffy: If only I were a size 2! That dress is STUNNING! (and if all else fails that could be a pretty reception dress!)
koiocha: 1300 for three isnt bad at all! I am not from USA either so one of the gowns ended up costing me $300 for shipping and taxes/duties but even so it was only $1150 and is $1800 in Canada so I considered that a good deal. I am actually glad I am in Canada bc if I was in the US I would probably buy 8 or 10 more !lol. Often when I find one I like I calculate in the extra shipping and duties and it doesnt end up worth it.
